Important information

We believe you deserve a stress free, safe and relaxing stay. Here are a few pointers, which may help:

Check in / Check Out
Check in is from 2pm - 9pm (unless otherwise agreed)
Check out is by 10.30 am. We will gladly take care of your bags/cases if you want to pop back for them later.

Smoking
Please note that it is non-smoking throughout the premises (although individuals are welcome to smoke on the outside patio area).

Pets
We regret that pets cannot be accommodated. However, guide and support dogs would be very welcome.

Children
The hotel is suitable for adults only (over 16 years).

Breakfast
Between 8am - 9am on Monday to Saturday.
Between 8.30 am - 9.30am on Sunday.

Deposits
With all bookings we require a non-refundable deposit of £31 per person or 10% of the value of the booking if greater than £500 total. For one night stays, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payment
Payment by cash or sterling cheque on the day of arrival would be greatly appreciated and would ensure a smoother, speedier checkout. We do not have credit/debit card facilities.

Alcohol
The hotel does not hold a licence to sell alcohol. However, we are ALCOHOL FRIENDLY so if guests wish to consume alcohol on the premises they may bring it with them and we will be happy to provide glasses, corkscrew and refrigeration facilities as required.

Cancellation or curtailment
In the event of cancellation or curtailment of your stay, you will be liable for charges depending upon the notice given (please see below).

We recommend that you consider insurance to cover eventualities, such as personal emergencies and travel disruption.
 

Damage to Hotel Property
Guests causing damage to hotel property (including accidental damage) will be charged for its replacement or repair. The person making the booking will be deemed liable if the person causing the damage is unable to pay the charges.

Left Property
A standard charge of £10 plus the cost of postage will be made for the return, on request, of property left at the hotel. The hotel cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage in transit. Property not claimed by the owner within two weeks of departure will be given to charity or destroyed.

Access
We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors in our 8 bed roomed guest accommodation. However we occupy a Victorian detached house dating back to the 1880's, so the structure of the building does present some physical barriers to accessibility.
