Pam’s natural empathy with people and her keen interest
in supporting their development has ensured her
long-term commitment to coaching and mentoring. Since
beginning her professional career in the early 80’s she
has supported others in formal and informal settings.
Educated to Masters level, Pam is a qualified coach, a
Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and
licensed & accredited to use a range of diagnostic and
psychometric instruments, namely LQF, Myers Briggs,
Margerison McCann (TMSDI) and 16PF.
Experience
Pam has a wealth of experience at a senior level, in
operational & strategic management and leadership
training & development, across the public and private
sectors and has coached and mentored a wide range of
senior leaders and executives, especially during times
of personal and organisational change and transition.
Her deep knowledge and understanding of stress
management and cultural change has been of particular
importance in supporting individuals and teams in
handling: uncertainty and chaos; workplace conflict; and
difficult colleagues.
Pam has written and delivered coaching and mentoring
‘train the trainer’ programmes and provided ongoing 1:1
support for numerous participants. One example is a
programme being extensively used throughout the NHS in
the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Humber regions. She has
also written and delivered a range of personal and
management development programmes including:
- Giving and receiving feedback
- Handling conflict
- Stress Management and awareness for managers and
for staff
- Assertiveness
- Change management
- Handling staff absenteeism
- Recruitment and selection
Approach
Pam has been described as motivating, refreshing,
intuitive, empathetic, challenging and flexible,
demonstrating high levels of integrity, trust and
confidentiality. Her philosophy of coaching and training
others is centred around the individual and in helping
to increase awareness of self and environment, ensuring
the individual retains responsibility for their
behaviour, performance and development. This approach is
underpinned with a strong belief in the potential of
each individual.
Her vast portfolio of tools and techniques enables Pam
to provide individually tailored solutions which are
best suited to the divergent needs and aspirations of
each client or group.
